Video: Octacore iOcean G7 benchmarks and gaming

iocean g7 gaming review

We have been testing the 6.44-inch iOcean G7 phablet for a few days now and are really getting on with it well. Here are a few videos to keep you going before the full review.

International resellers will soon be offering the iOcean G7 for sale, and if you are a phablet fan it really is one to take in to considertation. Personally I am not a huge fan of very large phones, but I have really been enjoying the large screen iOcean G7, not to mention the envious glances I have been getting thanks to the full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution! That panel really is a beauty!

To see the phabet in action I have put together a couple of videos. The first is a gaming test of the iOcean G7 the second a benchmarks video.

Gizchina News of the week

iOcean G7 Gaming Video

The octacore iOcean G7 runs a 1.7Ghz MT6592 processor, with 2GB RAM. Gaming is as smooth as we have come to expect it should be, but the 3D title sequence of ‘Real Drift’ gave the hardware some trouble. This is common with octacore Mediatek chips, but does not affect the game itself.

iOcean G7 Benchmarks video

For the full review I will also run 3D Mark and Vellamo on the iOcean G7, but for now the below video shows Antutu, Nenamark and Quadrant benchmarks.

iOcean G7 Benchamarks

  • Antutu: 26,986
  • Quadrant: 15,201
  • Nenamark: 47.3fps

The full  iOcean G7 review will be posted next week.

Nice benchmark reviews 🙂 Anyway, can you also try Antutu X? There seems to be a huge drop in performance among big names such as Samsung and LG when tested using Antutu X, so it would be interesting if you can compare the performance of the phone using both Antutu and Antutu X as well 🙂
