Another persistent Chinese inventor takes to the skies in a homemade helicopter.
It is not uncommon in China to read stories of homemade submarines, Transformers, fake Lamborghini’s, planes and even helicopters! So it is no surprise to see that yet another dreamer has taken to time to build his own flying machine.
Gizchina News of the week
Hou Sheng, a 52 year old farmer in Hunan decided it was about time to stop walking and start hovering, so produced this 150kg stainless steel helicopter. The machine is powered by a 3 wheeled motorbike engine and has a wingspan of 6 meters with room for just the pilot.
Although we don’t have video or photo of the machine in action, the inventor states his test flight was successful and he made it to the dizzying heights of 40cm from the ground.
