Oppo Find 7 to have new battery tech, could also get solar charging!

More teasers from Oppo could mean a new battery technology and solar power charging! Take a look and see what you make of them.

The above image wich shows two batteries and the words “More Touch, More Possibility”, was posted earlier today on Oppo’s Weibo page. As we have already learned, the Oppo Find 7 will have a replaceable battery, but more interestingly Oppo will also introduce a new battery technology.

The teaser could be referring to the additional contacts on the upper battery. More contacts would mean less heat build up and more efficient charging and battery life. It could also mean faster charging, a feature we are beginning to see on a number of flagship phones.

Gizchina News of the week

This second image is more interesting still and says “As long as there is light there is light” and “before when your battery has no power your screen will not work”. While it is quite a vague hint, we take it to mean that the Oppo Find 7 could feature solar battery charging technology. Perhaps with a solar panel behind the 5.5-inch display.

With a removable battery, mystery battery tech and mystery rear camera, the Find 7 is looking much more interesting!

We are just interpreting these teasers how we see them. Do you have any other ideas what they could mean? Let us know in the comments below.

The first sentence is from Bible, Genesis
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Solar power charging is pretty useless who the hell will leave their phone out in the open for 8 hours while the battery recharges.

I do, I cannot take my phone in for work (nuclear facility), So I leave it in my car at the car park. It might make for a bit less power drop when i get back. And if you switch the phone off it might even recharge a bit.

It can charge from indoor lighting, so when it sits on your desk it’ll charge

I think what they mean is this phone has an Arc Reactor build in. It will not only power itself but also your electric car 😉

A solar panel would be incredible! That would really be a game changer in the Mobile world for sure!

Multiple contacts, obvious, like why has nobody thought of that before 🙂 Charge several smaller batteries with some kind of relay to run in parallel after charging, nice. Solar – perfect for me, I leave my phone on my desk during the day, putting in the window would be easy and I live in the “city of lights”, so a great feature. I mostly agree with interpretation.

Fortunately they’re having a press event tomorrow. These vague teasers are REALLY annoying.
