Last week Oppo launched the Oppo Find 7a and Find 7. Already the early comparisons are flooding in, but the results aren’t exactly what we had thought.
Oppo launched 2 smartphones last week, the Oppo Find 7a and the flagship Oppo Find 7. The two phones are identical to look at and hold but their are hardware differences which separate the two phones.
The Oppo Find 7a has a 2.3Ghz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and 1920 x 1080 while the flagship Oppo Find 7 has a more powerful 2.5Ghz processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and higher resolution 2560 x 1440 display. With higher level hardware many Oppo fans have decided to hold off for the launch of the Find 7, but it could be the Find 7a which makes for the better phone.
Gizchina News of the week
Review site Eprice pegged the Find 7a and Find 7 head to head against one another, and interestingly it is the cheaper Find 7a which comes out on top. According to the review and comparison the Oppo Find 7a not only performs better in benchmarks but the 1080 FHD display offers better colour reproduction.
At the launch last week I tried both the Oppo Find 7a and Find 7 and have to admit that going from one to the other it was impossible to tell the two phones apart in performance or screen quality. The Oppo Find 7a is on sale in China now for 2998 Yuan, the Find 7 will launch at a later date at 3498 Yuan.
