The HTC M8 is not really a well kept secret, if you go by the sheer number of leaks it has had to suffer. To add insult to injury (or perhaps not?) the device was leaked again earlier today, in a lengthy video which apparently contains some revelations.

What’s most interesting is that, reportedly, the rear dual cameras on the back will not be the ultra-high res sensors as previously believed. Instead, the duo will have resolutions of 4.1 mega-pixel (larger unit) and 2 mega-pixel (smaller one) which will work in tandem to deliver high-quality images. It is noteworthy that the 2 mega-pixel sensor on the top will purely be used for computing purposes with no user-control over the unit. Instead, the shooter will compute crucial 3D data to give a better sense of depth.

HTC’s current flagship, the HTC One was a critical and commercial success. With the sort of goodies the HTC One (M8) supposedly has on offer, we don’t see a reason why the successor will not sail the same boat. What’s good is that you don’t have to wait long — the HTC One (M8) is expected to launch tomorrow.
