Oppo China have began accepting suggestions to which phone brand and model they should first port ColorOs to.
ColorOS is Oppo’s own Android ROM currently based on Android 4.3. The ROM itself isn’t to everyone’s tastes, but does boast some really great features and very useful custom gesture controls.
Oppo China have asked fans to vote for which phone brand and model they should bring Color OS to first. The options cover a nice wide variety of Android smartphone manufacturers including Samsung, Amoi, Gionee, Vivo, TCL, ZTE, K-touch, Sony, Motorola, Xiaomi, LG, Lenovo, Huawei, HTC, Coolpad and even UMi! All of whom also happen to be partners with popular rooting tool Shuame.

Once the votes have been counted (after April 11th) development of the ROM will being with a release date expected for around June 25th!
Interestingly it is the Huawei Ascend G700 which is currently in the lead, in fact most of the top phones are Mediatek devices.

They shouldn’t port it to anything. they should focus on making it into an installable APK addon (or better yet, a set of addons) that gets optionally installed on top of CM11.
This way they could always stay up to date with the OS, and they could bring their best features to their users.
The WORST move they could make it to waste resources porting to non-Oppo hardware instead of updating Color 2.x to Android 4.4 for their own customers.
