On April 1st ZTE will launch the latest version of the Grand S, the new ZTE Grand S II LTE! and we think that specs alone this latest phone could be an interesting alternative to the Oppo Find 7
ZTE Grand S II vs Oppo Find 7a
Like the Oppo Find 7, the ZTE Grand SII will be available in either a standard version or a more expensive high-end addition. As only the Oppo Find 7a is on sale a the moment we will pit the Grand S II LTE ‘lite’ version against Oppo’s latest and greatest.
ZTE Grand S II
The ZTE Grand S II LTE boasts a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AB quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory, 13 mega-pixel main camera and 2 mega-pixel rear. The Grand S II LTE is a single SIM phone, but does offer a removable rear cover, NFC and a large removable 3100mAh battery.
Oppo Find 7a
Gizchina News of the week
The Oppo Find 7a specifications are very similar. We have a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 2.3Ghz Snapdragon 801 MWM8974AB processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 mega-pixel front. ZTE Grand S II vs Oppo Find 7a
So there is very little between the 2 phones. Both have similar screens, similar hardware and similar features. The ZTE does lack the micro SD card expansion of the Oppo Find 7a, but it makes up by having a 3100mAh battery!
Then there are the design differences, do you prefer the traditional Oppo look of the Find 7a, or the more business like brushed metal look on the ZTE Grand S II LTE?
Which would be your choice?
ZTE Grand S II traditional design is a disappointment. I like much more of Oppo Find 7 modern design my self.
Definitely Oppo =). I do like the Nubia’s design, but the Grand S series always look fat…but that’s just me personally.
