Today is a tricky day for news, with so many April Fools jokes online it is hard to know what is real and what is fake. This latest Xiaomi MiPad tablet could be just another cruel joke, but which so many previous photos we hope it’s the real deal.

As well as this photo we have also be fed some other details including a release date of April 8th, and a retail price of 1299 Yuan ($209). As for specifications the tablet sounds spot on and a great alternative to most mini Android tablets and even the iPad mini itself. Apparently the this Xioami MiPad tablet has a screen size of between 6-7 inches, 2GB RAM, 32GB memory, 13 mega-pixel main camera and 5 mega-pixel front camera.

Sounds more like the specs of a Phablet rather than a tablet. Still no info on the important details like screen resolution or which SoC it’s using.
Xiaomi should release a 8 inch tablet atleast
