Eton have taken their “Hype” machine in to overdrive and released further details of their large capacity, 5000mAh Thundergod smartphone.
Previously all that was known about the phone was the battery capacity and the choice of MT6592 octacore processor, but today we can reveal further juicy specifications.

Eton have announced that the the display will be a large 5.7-inch 1920 x 1080 OGS FHD model with Corning Gorilla Glass, and also features LTPS tech to allow use with wet hands or with gloves.
The Thundergod is bucking trends of previous large battery phones by not only being thin despite the large battery (below 10mm) but also receiving similar hardware to flagship smartphones.

Too bad…. 5.7 Inch is just too big. 5.2 or 5.0 would have been far more impressive and I presume would have been easier to sell.
I agree that 5 or 5.2 inches would’ve been more impressive. It would also be better for guys like you who can’t bear 5.5+ inched phones, since there’s not enough 5 inchers with large batteries. Us phablet loves already have great battery life, there was no need for another one.
