The JiaYu G4S isn’t the only octacore update for this month, the JiaYu G5S has also recently gone on sale here in China and will be available elsewhere next week.
Made from stainless steel and featuring a slightly larger 4.5-inch Gorilla Glass 720p display, the JiaYu G5S is the bigger, better dressed brother of the G4S with the same 1.7Ghz octacore processor. Actually most of the hardware is lifted directly from the G4S including the 13 mega-pixel main camera, 3 mega-pixel front, 1-2GB RAM and on board storage of between 4-16GB.

The JiaYu G5S is for people who want the performance of the G4S but a slightly larger display and enjoy the luxury of a more robust and hardwearing metal body. As you would expect pricing is higher with the top of the range 3000mAh battery version with 2GB RAM going on sale for $239.99.
