Android 4.4 Kitkat has finally rolled out on to the flagship Meizu MX3 in the most recent Flyme 3.6.1A update today.
Meizu fans around the world will be heartily enjoying rubbing Oppo, and Xiaomi owners noses in to the news that their phones have received a 4.4 update first. Released this morning, Flyme version 3.6.1A brings the latest version of Android to the octacore Meizu phone as well as bringing a few bug fixes and changes to the camera app, gallery, notes app, application center, sync, video and notification bar.

Meizu also announced that from this update forward they will be supporting a ‘stable’ and ‘test’ build of their new updates. The ‘stable’ builds will take longer to be released but will also have most bugs and issues resolved, where as the ‘test’ ROM will be made available earlier but might not be so practical for daily use.
