Not that this is something new, but USA based vendor Blu just announced the Blue Life Pure XL, a Snapdragon 800 powered device identical to the Gionee Elife E7.
The Gionee version of the device first launched in China in November last year, making it one among the more powerful devices at the time of launch. Everything remains the same here, and the USP is still the 16 mega-pixel camera. If you don’t remember, the device comes with a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p FHD screen, a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, a 16 mega-pixel rear camera, 8 mega-pixel front (with autofocus) and a 2500mAh battery.
Gizchina News of the week
The phone will be available in two specification sets — one with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, with a retail price of $349, and the other higher-end set with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM for $50 additional.
Interestingly, it is the 3GB RAM version which will go on sale before the 2GB RAM one. It will come in Black and White, and will go on sale May 2 and May 9 respectively. On the other hand, the 2GB RAM Blu Life Pure XL will go on sale in June with 4 colour variants to choose from — Black, White, Blue and Pink.
