We’ve been expecting an HTC One mini 2 (M8 mini) ever since the full-sized version of the device launched, or even before that. Thanks to @evleaks, we were able to get a sneak peek at the device earlier today.
As you would expect, the device presents itself with the very M8 design, but on a smaller scale. Leaks have pointed at a 4.5-inch display that the M8 mini might sport, which sounds just about right for a ‘mini’ smartphone for this year. Back to the design of the M8 mini; besides the aforementioned difference in size, the device is pretty much an M8 lookalike minus the rear. That, because the leaked M8 mini does not feature the much talked about Duo Camera that the M8 features.

Gizchina News of the week
Besides the lacking Duo Camera, the M8 mini also seems to have just one LED flash module as opposed to two that feature on the full sized M8. The sensor per se is expected to be a 13 mega-pixel unit (rear), which, if true, would mean that the Ultrapixel tech is exclusive to the flagship, full sized version.
Other leaked specs in 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM and a Snapdragon 400 CPU go to suggest that the M8 mini will not be much of an intimidating presence as far as the full sized M8, or even any other flagship from around the world in concerned. Instead, the device will make a premium, and perhaps a much more expensive variant to something like a Motorola Moto G.

In other word, nothing worth having just like most “mini” phone out there.
Smartphone manufacturers are dumb. They assume that people don’t want a powerful phone in small form factor. Ram Should be 2Gb atleast.
