OOne have released real photos, partial specs and pricing for their 2Ghz Mediatek phone, but the high quality build comes at a very high price!
New phone maker OOne want to bring a high-quality Android phone to fans of Mediatek devices. The phone they have produced, the OOne O1, certainly does look the part but we can’t help thinking their asking price is a little optimistic!
Priced at 3299 Yuan ($527), the OOne O1 costs more than a Xiaomi Mi3, OnePlus One, Meizu MX3 and even the Oppo Find 7a! OOne hope that customers will be attracted to their phone due to the Corning Gorilla Glass layered body, 99g lightweight and 5.67mm body.
Gizchina News of the week
OOne have also added Dolby Stereo to the phone for improved audio, 2GB RAM, top of the range 2.0Ghz octacore MT6592 chipset and custom ROM with enhanced security.
Strangely OOne have upped for a 5-inch display with HD 1280 x 720 resolution and an 8 mega-pixel Sony rear camera on the phone which is way below the standards this high price would suggest.
Preorders begin today for the dual SIM WCDMA, TD-SCDMA 3G phone, with colour options being either black, gold or silver. More details can be seen on the OOne website.
Yes. Apparently they are delusional.
Even worse, They couldn’t even name the company (or the phone) without stealing OnePlus’ trademark.
Maybe it is a trick from Apple to get prices higher! Seriously, even the hardware does not worth this price!
I’d buy this for 200$ not that much though
