More THL 5000 and THL 4400 specification details surface

thl 5000 thl 4400

Earlier this week we broke news of two new large battery THL phones about to go on sale, more details have now surfaced giving full specifications for the phones.

The THL 5000 and THL 4400 phones are two of the most exciting THL devices we have seen recently, and a leak earlier this week has actually become one of the most popular THL stories we have posted.

The interested in these two phones stems from the fact that they seem to two very well thought out products, with larger battery capacities and nice set of features.

As we reported earlier both phones have a 5-inch Gorilla Glass display, 5 megapixel front cameras and the same dimensions (44.9 x 72.3 x 8.9mm), it has now come to light that both will also have Android 4.2 and support for GSM and WCDMA networks.

The THL 5000 though, with 5000mAh battery, is truly something special with NFC, OTG, quick charging, octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, quick charge, SD memory expansion, 1080 display and rear Sony 13 mega-pixel camera with F1.8 aperture!

We are still waiting on pricing and launch details, lets hope that THL have managed to keep prices down and have 4.4 updates in the works.

ZeroLemon makes a 9300 mAh battery for the note 2, which I’ve owned. They also make a 10,000 mAh for the note 3, which I will be getting soon. This also comes with something similar to the otter box and a spring clip snap on holster.

But that’s just adding extra costs to an already expensive phone to make it more functional. This is looking more like the complete package in one phone. It’s got literally everything that people have been asking for, a large battery, a slim design, SD card expansion, a camera that sounds pretty good, an original design, a not too large not too small display, a good resolution, quick charging for that huge battery, NFC, OTG and a couple of meh features. Add that with the MTK6592’s good performance and possible KitKat updates, there’s literally never been a better time to consider a ThL smartphone. The only thing that could make this better would be good GPS performance and dual SIM slots. If it had those, this thing would be gold.

LTE would be amazing. And hopefully it won’t cost too much either.

The MT6582 and MT6592 doesn’t have LTE. But like Airyl said, these arphones we’ve all been looking for. When they release them, I’ll make sure to get both for my wife and myself.

They didn’t specify which octa core processor they’re using, if it’s MT6595 then THL has one hell of a phone there.

They do specify it, actually. In the 5000 picture’s platform section. It’s using the MTK6592W like the other ThL phones. I’m also guessing W stands for WCDMA.

+1 Airyl. Thanks for responding to desponent. I think he must’ve missed that part while reading thru the article.

I couldn’t care less for LTE. Mostly I use Wifi to surf (prepaid SIM) and if I do use mobile Internet HSDPA (WCDMA) is more than enough. So that is not a big issue for me.

The pro’s of the thl 5000 are so hyper good that I will definitely buy it. I just hope it is dual SIM. That is a piece of Information that I am still missing.

Can you confirm that they will both be Dual SIM?

The THL 5000 is almost perfect except they didn’t include the 900MHz WCDMA 3G frequency needed for a lot of UK networks!

I’m really disappointed about the thl 4400 only having a MT6582M instead of MT6582.
It has weaker graphics GPU 🙁

Fast charge is good, my W8s takes forever to charge and the battery life is crap.

Any news on a release date?
