We’ve spoken about the Honor 3C that received an LTE update; along with this, the elder sibling to the device, the Honor 3X, got an update as well.
This new version of the Honor 3X, dubbed Honor 3X Pro, comes with pretty much the same specs save for the display and the rear cover. The 5.5-inch panel on the device now churns out a better pixel density thanks to the upgrade to a full HD 1920 x 1080p resolution from the previous 720p HD. Besides the resolution, the display tech too gets a bump — the 5.5-inch display is now made out of an LTPS panel.

The other minor upgrade the Honor 3X Pro carries is the rear cover which now comes with a ‘smooth skin’ texture. Basically, you can expect the rear of the device to feel a bit more organic than plastic.
Other than this, the device still comes with the 8 core MediaTek MT6592, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 5 mega-pixel front camera and of course, Huawei’s Android-based Emotion UI.
The Honor 3X Pro gets a 1,698 Yuan price tag, or roughly $272, and is slated to go on pre-sale starting tomorrow.
