China’s Sina Weibo helps spread purported images of the Meizu MX4, but we are not convinced they are the real thing. How about you?
For a traditionally quiet company, Meizu have been quite active through this year. They have really upped their game with frequent firmware updates and even a move to Android 4.4, there are rumours of up to 5 new devices, international launches in Europe and the U.S and even the chance we could see a Meizu tablet!
Gizchina News of the week
The most anticipated device however is the next flagship Meizu phone, aka the Meizu MX4. A tipster on Weibo even claims to have had their hands on with the next Meizu phone.
If the photos are genuine (which I am not convinced they are) they show a phone not too dissimilar from the current Meizu MX3. The main differences in design are the non removable rear panel, speakers located in the base, SIM tray, non tapered metal bezel and the move of all the physical controls to the right of the machine.
Looking at the photos do you think this is a genuine Meizu MX4 leak? I personally think it is just a photo of the UMi X3 Mediatek phone.
