Constantly dropping component costs have led to the release of Android devices such as the Telecast P78HD launching at it incredible prices! Take a look at the specs.
Since the launch of the iPad mini we have seen an increase in the number mini Android tablets available from China, each one offering more and more for your money compared to Apples alternative. Well known (in China) tablet maker Telecast are now offering their latest model, the Telecast P78HD, at an incredibly low price to customers outside of China.
The design of the Telecast is similar to the iPad Mini’s but at just 7-inch the device is slightly smaller. Resolution is 1920 x 1200 which is fine for the price although not a ‘Retina’ model as the Telecast marketing team would have you believe.
Gizchina News of the week
Rather than going for a Mediatek solution the P78HD has a Allwinner A31 SoC on board. The A31 is a quad-core unit based on Cortex A7 cores and runs at just 1GHz, again fine for the price and enough for 1080 video playback on the device or even 2160p video to a TV via HDMI. There is no 3G (unless you use an additional dongle) but there is WIFI, and the tablet supports OTG and Miracast.
Telecast are also shipping their low-cost 7-inched with Android 4.4 Kitkat too, so you can benefit from up to date optimizations which help the OS be less of a RAM hog. The P78HD tablet is on sale through Orientdeal, follow the link below to get the full specifications.
