As far as Mini devices go, the Oppo N1 Mini is sure to grab some fans. Just the fact that it has a similar swivel style camera as its larger brother will make the phone appeal to some. Unfortunately, we don’t know much past that and a few sparse specs revealed by the FCC.
Thankfully, we won’t be left in the dark for much longer. Oppo has announced on their Weibo page that the Oppo N1 Mini, or whatever it will be called, will be revealed on May 30th, or this Friday, although a specific time frame wasn’t given.
Gizchina News of the week
This is what we know about the N1 Mini so far: It is slightly smaller and lighter than the N1, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, has a 2140mAh battery, a 13 megapixel “swivel” camera, 4G connectivity and a 720p 5-inch display. We also know what it looks like, inside and out.
All that is left is for Oppo to tell us what kind of muscle is sitting behind that shell, how much it will cost and when and where it will be available.
We will be sure to update you on what Oppo shows off Friday. Do Mini versions of popular phones get you excited?
