With a larger screen iPhone 6 phones on the horizon could Apple find themselves in the need to create mini iPhone in the future? Chinese clone makers seem to think so and have forged ahead to create one.
The current iPhone 5S can hardly be classed as large, and when compared to “mini” phones such as the Oppo N1 Mini it is positively micro, still with a rumoured 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone due to launch this year could an iPhone mini be in Apple’s future?
Gizchina News of the week
Chinese clone makers eager to capitalise on a market which may well emerge have already started to produce a mini version of the iPhone 5S. Dimensions of this palm sized phoned were listed but from the photos we can see the design easily fits in your hand and the tiny display is only large enough to fit 3 icon in across it.
A few years ago a similar micro iPhone was spotted by us at the local Chinese phone city priced at around $30, not that we would ever recommend buying one.
