After showcasing the Talkband B1 at the MWC earlier this year, Huawei have now officially outed the tiny wearable.
Designed to track your fitness, the Talkband B1 is Huawei’s first smartwatch (if you choose to call it one), and comes with a 1.4-inch OLED display which is flexible. What’s cool about the Talkband B1? For starters, this wearable piece of tech pairs with iOS as well as Android, albeit with minimum requirements when the OS version is concerned (5.0+ and 2.3+, respectively). Second, an NFC chip embedded in the device allows fast pairing, which needless to say, is the need of the hour.

Thanks to a 90mAh battery (the capacity might underwhelm, but you’re advised to ignore) and the OLED display that doesn’t suck up much juice, the Talkband B1 can last up to a good 6 days of usage, 7 hours of talktime and 14 days of standby. An earpiece sits inside the chassis that you can pull out anytime to make and receive calls, to complete the entire setup. Lastly, the Talkband B1 is also IP57 certified, which means the little piece of wearable tech is water/dust resistant (not water/dust proof).
