Chinese phone maker VK are strengthing their presence in Spain with the launch of a new LTE equipped Mediatek smartphone.
Currently codenamed the VK 1000, the phone still remains a secret to all except VK’s managers, however a few details appear to have been confirmed along with a price and launch schedule.
First the VK1000 could cost as little as 170 Euros and will be available in Spain (possibly other European countries) from as early as next week. The specs are nothing to write home about but do include a claimed support for 13 different frequencies including FDD LTE, TD-LTE, WCDMA, and GSM using the quad-core MT6582M processor with LTE MT6290 modem.
Gizchina News of the week
The display will be a 5-inch WVGA unit and cameras are believed to be 8 mega-pixel rear and 2 mega-pixel front.
There could also be an additional VK LTE phone on the horizon too with slightly better rear camera specifications.
For more details head over to VK’s official website.
