The US might get another mildly-powered smartphone from Acer, if we are to go by a recent FCC filing.
We’re talking about the Acer Liquid E700, a 5-inch smartphone that passed by the FCC sometime back. This makes us believe that the device will soon be released in the US, with a specs set that shouts mid-range: a 5-inch 720p display, the insanely popular MediaTek MT6582 CPU… but something which brings it to the higher-end of the spectrum is 2GB RAM.
The device also features run-of-the-mill 8 mega-pixel rear camera and 2 mega-pixel front, along with a respectable 16GB on-board storage (expandable via microSD) to store your clicks and other media. What’s most impressive on this baby is the battery, which at 3500mAh is easily above average (capacity-wise).
With support for AT&T and T-Mobile networks, the Liquid E700 is expected to go on sale soon. An international 3-SIM version of the device exists, but as liliputing reports, it is unlikely that US gets this version.
