2K Lenovo ‘Find 7 slayer’ K920 receives network certification, could go on sale soon

Lenovo announced the high-spec’d K920 about a fortnight back, when the device made quite a wave thanks to it being touted as an OPPO Find 7 killer. There seems to have been some progress in the Lenovo camps, which brings the device closer to a launch.

The K920 will succeed the popular Vibe Z from the Chinese maker, and for that, it would need a network licence which it has managed to receive, in China. Specifications wise, the Vibe Z2 Pro is very similar to the Find 7 with a 2K display, 3GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 801 CPU. What might deter some is the screen size, which at 6 inches is far from the smallest.

Gizchina News of the week

It’ll come with a 16 mega-pixel camera on the rear and a 5 mega-pixel front to complete, and a price tag that should be good enough to buy your OnePlus loyatly; rumours suggest that the device will be priced as low as 2500 CNY or just $425 in China!

So, would you rather prefer a 6-inch 2K screen a low price (Z2 Pro) or a higher price and smaller screen (Find 7)? Looks like you’ll have a bit to choose from!

Without thinking twice, I will choose the Lenovo. Prefer the 6 inch screen to the 5.5 inch of the Find 7

Before buying the Z Ultra, I thought it was huge, but after using it for just a couple of hours, I became grateful for it’s size. It also easily slides into the pockets of my tight pants, so I think 6″ isn’t going to be a problem to many people out there.

Only if they just replaced the dual sim function with a micro sd slot on the international version.

Considering this is going to be Lenovo’s most expensive phone it should have both things inside to be honest. No compromise. Dual sim + sd card.

I rather prefer a 7-7.5 inch (still fits in the inside pocket of my jacket) with dual SIM, SDcard and HDMI. In my dreams it would run Windows 8.1, and a docking station is optional.

Totaly agree with you. I have a 6,44 now and I’am still not satisfied…
