Earlier today, Xiaomi supremo Lei Jun announced on Weibo that his company managed to sell 26.1 million smartphones in the first half of 2014. To get things into perspective, Xiaomi sold just 7 million units in H1 2013, which goes to show exactly how much the company has achieved in a span of one year.
The China based maker sold 18.7 million smartphones in all of 2013, a figure which has already been surpassed with one half of the year still in hand. Official stats were also posted on the Xiaomi blog, where the company mentioned that it saw a 271% increase in sales since 2013.
