Hasee started with their first Android phones this year, and are already keeping up with the big guns with plans for an LTE device in the near future.

Hasse, a well know electronics maker of low-cost computers, are about to release a 4G LTE smartphone that look a whole lot like the Zopo ZP998 smartphone.

Gizchina News of the week

Currently unnamed, the phone is believed to be based on a MT6592 octacore platform and will get LTE thanks to Mediatek’s MT6290 piggyback modem. Assuming that Hasse haven’t changed the specs too much from the ZP998 we can expect a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 2GB RAM, dual-SIM support, and 14 mega-pixel main camera with F2.0 aperture.

Pricing in China should be around 1499 Yuan. Internationally the phone will likely launch as a Zopo and cost around $300+.
