If you followed GizChina way back in the day then you will may vaguely remember Chinese phone maker Bluebo. Well 2014 marks the return of the brand and the launch of the LTE equipped Bluebo X4.
Bluebo are marketing the Bluebo X4 as “The Born King”. I’m not sure what they are trying to get at there, the phone is obviously not a flagship device, perhaps it will be the king of affordable LTE?
Regardless of the slogan, the Bluebo X4 is going to be aimed squarely at customers who want a fast LTE connection and don’t require the latest in processor or screen performance to compliment it.
Gizchina News of the week
Initial specifications of the X4 have it wearing a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 FWVGA display, just 512mb RAM, 2MP front camera, 5 mega-pixel rear and a quad-core MT6582M (M meaning the entry-level version) processor with MT6290 LTE modem.
The good news is that the price will be low, it does have TDD-LTE, FDD-LTE, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA and GSM, plus Android 4.4.2 Kitkat will run well on the sparse amount of RAM.
As Bluebo phone have been designed for international markets in the past we assume the Bluebo X4 will also be readily available through popular Chinese resellers.
