Later this month in Beijing, ZTE’s Nubia brand will unleash their next generation smartphone. From recent Antutu benchmarks it looks every bit as powerful as we had hoped.
Codenamed the NX505J, the Nubia Z7, will launch later this month and will go on sale not long after. From details obtained from the official TENNA website, we have learned that the Z7 will measure just 8.5mm thick, have a 5.5 inch display and support GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE and WCDMA networks.
We also believe that the Nubia Z7 will get a Snapdragon 801 running at 2.5Ghz with 2GB RAM. Recent purported benchmarks partially confirm our suspicious and also uncover the phone will have a 13 megapixel camera and run Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box.
Gizchina News of the week
So what about the scores? Well according to the Antutu tests the Nubia Z7 will be capable of 38,699 points. That’s about on par with the Vivo Xshot and OnePlus One.
Nubia Z7 rumours are in a bit of a muddle at the moment and suggest a mid-range and flagship phone. Possibly we will be seeing the launch of the Nubia Z7 and Z8 next week.
