The 4G revolution has been taking the Chinese phone market by storm but the tablet market hasn’t seen much action until now.
Photos of China’s first 4G LTE tablet have been spied, with China Mobile’s 4G logo on the rear. The China Mobile logo isn’t the bad news it once meant for international buyers was they have decided to go for the more widely used TD-LTE, in this case bands 39/40 and 41 are supported.
The OEM tablet is driven by a 1.2Ghz Snapdragon MSM8926 processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be added to with a 32GB memory card.
Gizchina News of the week
A 7-inch WXGA 800 x 1280 display isn’t that great by today’s standards, but it should mean we will be looking at a competitive price once the tablet goes on sale. The rest of the feature are GPS, Micro USB, OTG, 4100mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 Kitkat.
Being a China Mobile OEM products their won’t be an official international launch, but this LTE tablet does sign the beginning of a new tech race.
