The Xiaomi Mi2S lives on and with an even lower price!

After launching the Mi3 in India today, Xiaomi went on to reduce the price of the Xiaomi Mi2S in China.

Gizchina News of the week

The Xiaomi Mi2S might be an old phone but it still packs some very impressive hardware. The phone, now priced at only 1299 Yuan, boasts 32GB memory, a Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, and a 4.3-inch 720hd screen.

The 32GB Xiaomi Mi2S limited edition remains a firm favourite at the GizChina office, proving to be a powerful and reliable phone, and now even better value than ever.

Hi Andi, where could I find the MI2S in 32GB version sold at this price? I would order 2 copies! Thanks in advance! James

This is the price in China, you will have to pay a bit more if you buy from resellers. Try AliExpress if you don’t know where to go first. Good luck!

My question above was directed to Andi, and if you want KitKat it is available. If you don’t want to take advantage of what is being offered by a Xiaomi Engineer and stay on Jelly Bean 4.1 , then thats your downfall.

        Anyway enough of this…….

Lol. It is still not an official stable build. You cannot download it from the Xiaomi stable download page, i have checked the latest release, meaning the KitKat you speak of it is not an official stable build.

If its built by a Xiaomi Engineer, its official enough for me 🙂

Yeah, its nice to at least have some kind of kitkat rom, xiaomi has really treated mi2/2s/2a owners very badly by just leaving them on 4.1 then trying to justify it.

Not me. Although I’m not using it anymore, I liked WIUI which is a slightly tweaked version of MIUI and AFAIK it doesn’t have KitKat yet.
