Tipsters leaking images of the Meizu MX4 are again concentrating on the screen of the next Meizu flagship.
Meizu are being very secretive about their next smartphone. With high security and tight-lipped staff it has been hard to get hold of some concrete information about this new phone.
As it stands we have learned that Meizu are probably going to be launching 4 new devices, all of which will have 4G LTE. We also believe that they have chosen Samsung for the top of the range SoC and Mediatek for more affordable models. These have been the consistent leaks at least.
This week though someone has managed to get their hands on he display of the Meizu MX4 (or at least what they say is the MX4’s display). An image earlier this week showed a wide 15:9 display panel measuring around 5.4-inches.
Gizchina News of the week
We also believe the MX4 with have a Samsung Exynos processor, 20 mega-pixel main camera and possibly even a fingerprint scanner.
The Meizu MX4 will be launching around the same time as the Xiaomi Mi4, marking the first time both companies have gone head to head at a product launch. Sparks are going to fly, but who is going to come out on top?
Well… I just received a OnePlus One invitation (64GB) and… what the heck should I do? I’m REALLY interested in the Meizu offer, even more since the announcement of Ubuntu Touch for the MX3… And then, ZTE with the new Nubia Z5 mini, Xiaomi Mi4, OMG!!!
Andi, my friend, what would you do?
Get it see if you like it and if not I’m sure it will be easy to sell when the MX4 launches.
I tried to buy it… without success, apparently they’re not shipping to Spain yet (though I’m in China, I’d better go for the international model). I’m waiting for their answer… but pretty sure the MX4 would meet my requirements.
Fingers crossed for a dual boot Android 4.4.2/L + Ubuntu Touch phone 😉
try from a Spanish IP it should work
Andi, I appreciate your answers, but this thing got me upset… I attach screenshot (I previously erased phone number and zip code, but with all the info I got the same result). Hopefully I’ll receive some help from the OnePlus staff, but it’s quite late now.
Finally today I managed to buy it through a Spanish IP, like you said!
Congrats !
Yipee!
Meizu and Xiaomi are pissing on OnePlus’s party!
