Huawei have made a further teaser to promote their upcoming launch, but what exactly are they going to release?
The teaser simple says ‘ X’ now if you cast your mind back to the beginning of the year you will remember that Huawei released the Huawei Mediapad X1, a 7-inch phablet with all the features of an Android smartphone in the body of a tablet.
The X1 was either the largest phablet on the market when launched or a compact LTE equipped tablet, depending on how you looked at a it.
Gizchina News of the week
An X in the teaser just seem to suggest that a Huawei Mediapad X2, or Honor X2 is the device which we will see at launch, but what could Huawei have done to the original to make it any better? The X1 has LTE, a good size screen, 2GB RAM and decent cameras. The X2 could possible get the new octacore Kirn 920 chipset, which would certainly play nicely with 3GB RAM, and could drive a higher resolution display, all nice features.
We also expect the new X2 (if that is what is going to launch) to be one of the first Huawei devices to ship with the new Emotion UI 3.0 based on Android 4.4.2.
