While the Nexus program has seen some powerful phones and potent tablets, there essentially hasn’t ever been a phablet in the scheme, something which might change very soon!
Going by this recent leak, Google might soon unveil a 5.9-inch Nexus that would fill the void between tablets and phones. Of course, it isn’t yet confirmed, but that’s what the leaks and rumour are saying; you’ll have to wait a few months to know what’s true and what’s not.
That’s not it, it’s also being said that the 5.9-inch Nexus will come from Motorola’s manufacturing facilities. Now this is something, especially when you consider that Motorola was once Google property. In fact, it’s only been a handful months since China’s Lenovo bought Motorola. That, however, hasn’t stopped Motorola from providing undelayed Android updates to its affordable Moto range of smartphones.

To top it all, the allegedly upcoming 5.9-inch Nexus — reportedly known as the ‘Shamu’ indoors — will also pack a fingerprint reader, something that’s becoming more popular each day. Speculations and rumours should come to an end when Google releases Android L later this year, possibly with another Nexus tablet.
If it has a replaceable ZeroLemon battery, I’m in
Well… I guess we should keep our fingers crossed!
The battery is more important. Unusable is all wihtout power!
That kernel version, 3.10 is very exciting as well. AFAIK the most cutting edge kernels now are still on 3.4…
If that turns out to be the new Nexus 6, alot of people will be very disappointed with the screen size.
Great if the screen is 5.9″. Now I got 5″ Samsung Galaxy 4 and one INew v 3. only 5″ , to small.
If the screen is big but phone is thin, then it goes into slim jeans pocket.
