Oppo have released the Oppo Find 5 mini, aka the Oppo R827, on Mexico’s Telcel Mexico.
Oppo are know through out most markets as the makers of the Oppo Find 7 and Oppo N1. Two premium phones running high-end hardware and Qualcomm processors, but they also have a very large ‘bread and butter’ range of phones.
In China, Asia and other markets, Oppo have been releasing a few of their more affordable models which boast the same high-end design and level of manufacture, but with a more down to earth Mediatek price.
Gizchina News of the week
The Oppo R827, is one such phone that has just gone on sale in Mexico. Also know as the Oppo Find 5 Mini, the device packs a 4.7-inch 960 x 540 display, quad-core MT6582 processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB internal memory. The main selling feature though is the 8 mega-pixel F2.0 rear camera, which is said to be the same as the camera in the iPhone 5S.
Although designed to be more affordable than their flagship devices, the R827 still isn’t cheap and costs around 5729 Pesos ($402). The high cost is likely due to taxes and import duties.

960×540 display and MT6582 for 402$. Good job.
400$ for this shit, are they for real?
There is no duty on cell phones in Mexico. There is a VAT of about 16% and that is not usually included in the price of the item
Carlos Slim didn’t get dirt rich selling at reasonable prices.
Too bad I don’t own a Tv so I have never seen advertisement for this phone.
