Lenovo’s 6-inch Vibe Z2 Pro is set to launch next week, but could the new owner of Motorola also be planning to launch a mini version of the phone too?
The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is another attempt by Lenovo to break out in to the mainstream and promises to offer high-end specification and performance. In reality though, so did the past few Lenovo flagship phones, but despite their great features none really managed to hit the mark.
According to spy photos, Lenovo might be planning to double its chance of success this time around and might be launching a Mini version of their flagship phone. The above spy photo shows the 6-inch Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro next to a similar looking but smaller (possibly 5.5-inch Lenovo phone).
Gizchina News of the week
Recent mini phones from Chinese manufacturers have been better than previous attempts as they have featured hardware similar to their larger brothers rather than being poorly spec’d low-end devices. The latest Nubia Z7 range is a good example, and one we hope Lenovo are following.
Lenovo haven’t officially given any details of the unknown Mini Vibe Z2, but that hasn’t stopped Chinese tech sites speculate that it will have a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2GB RAM and Snapdragon 801 processor.
