Xiaomi and Micromax have shown that it takes a fair degree of local knowledge to succeed in any market. If you aren’t aware, Xiaomi in China, and Micromax in India just took to the #1 spot in their respective markets, both of which were formerly ruled by… Samsung.
Blu Products is a Florida based vendor that aims to replicate the success Xiaomi and Micromax saw, but in its own market – the US. For this, the company has released an array of budget (and otherwise) phones, including the four that it released earlier today.
The devices – Blu Studio 5.0 C HD, Studio C Mini, Blu Studio 5.0 C, Blu Studio 5.0 CE – come with Android v4.4 KitKat on board, and offer either dual- or quad-core processing. Take a look at the specs below:

It’s quite clear that the $149 Studio 5.0 C HD leads the pack with a quad-core MT6582 processor, a 5-inch HD screen and an 8 mega-pixel camera. Following it is the$119 Studio C Mini, with a 4.7-inch WVGA display and the same MT6582 quad-core CPU.
With a $89 price tag, the Studio 5.0 CE is the cheapest of the lot, and comes powered with a 1.3GHz dual-core CPU, but lacks 3G. Lastly, it’s the Studio 5.0 C that comes with a dual-core MediaTek MT6572 SoC, a 5-inch FWVGA display and a $109 price tag.
