Huawei are finally ready to release their next smartphone, and it is coming on September 4th.
What Huawei have planned for the September 4th event we are not entirely sure, but it should either be the next Huawei Mate or Huawei Ascend D series phone.
Judging by the teaser the model of the phone will be 7, and from current Huawei devices we can safely assume that the new phone will be powered by a Huawei Kirin 920 processor with LTE.
Gizchina News of the week
There are reportedly two version of the new phone, with options for wither a 6-inch 1080 or 6-inch 2K display, and options for either 2GB or 3GB RAM. The phone is believed to have an all alloy body and rear facing fingerprint scanner.

Or although unlikely Ascend P7S?
jesus, i thought my honor 6 will be flagship… guess not 🙁
Huawei have too many flagship launch in a year. Flagship here flagship there. getting tire to follow their stupid launch. Cant make up their mind. Initially Ascend P and D is flagship model. No suddenly Honor 6 become then Mate. Huawei cant you make up your mind?
Not true. Huawei’s plans were there long back. The P7 is meant to be a highly design centric phone, and flagship in that category. While Honor 6 (and Honor series as well) is a flagship in the category of those high spec low price phone competing with likes of Xiaomi (and now One plus One too). While the Ascend D3 was supposed to be true premium flagship of the year competing with likes of Samsung S5, Lg G3, HTC M8 et. al. But with increasing leaks of Ascend D series combining with Mate series, to form a 6 inch device called “Mate 7” model, it seems the target with this model is the likes of Samsungs Note series (and other 5.5 inch+ screen phones). While they might come up with an advanced P7 model (the recent sapphire screen leaks) which would be enough to compete with S5, M8, Iphone 6, et al.
Quite a logical explanation . But if it’s called Mate 7 , then it means D-serise is gone .
