The iNew V3 really took us by storm at the start of the year! The slim, feature packed phone still has some life left in it and will soon go on sale as the THL T6S.
We have seen numerous Chinese phone makers rebrand themselves over the course of the year. UMi have changed their business model, and so too it seems has THL. THL were often seen as a direct rival to Zopo, but with increased competition this year we have heard less and less from them other than the THL 4400 and THL 5000 launches.
Gizchina News of the week
Now, THL are getting ready to release a new phone, but rather than an all new device its a rebind! The THL T6S, which will cost just $89.99 is a rebranded iNew V3 which originally went on sale at the start of the year.
THL haven’t changed much to make the phone their own other than adding their logo. The phone still has a quad-core MT6582 processor, 5-inch 720 display but now runs Android 4.4 out of the box.
The THL T6S is on pre-order through certain international resellers now and will be available in black or white.
How would this compare with something like Samsung Galaxy S4 for reference? I need something fast but I’m little short when it comes to budget.
Yes I was thinking S3 but wrote S4. But I read about this model and I don’t like it.
“The phone still has a quad-core MT6582 processor, 5-inch 720 display”
It has MT6582M and 854×480 resolution not 720.
And far lesser cams, just 8GB NAMD and is thicker.
Thanks for clarifying that because I wanted to order it. But now I won’t anymore. 😉
