UMi have sent over a few photos of the UMi C1 during a photo shoot in China. Is this a mid-range quad-core phone you would be happy buying?
The UMi C1 will soon be available around the globe through authorized UMi agents and various online resellers based in China. The C1 is the first new phone from UMi in a few months, and the company hope it will start the ball rolling for them again after they lost a little momentum during the first half of the year.
The C1 is based of the same design and chassis as the UMi X3, but to keep the phone affordable uses a 5.5-inch 720p display, 1.3Ghz quad-core processor, 1GB memory, and 13 mega-pixel camera. The phone also features a baby soft rear panel and the display works with wet hands.

UMi have mentioned that they are also toying with the idea to release a ‘pro’ version of the phone which will keep the same hardware overall but will benefit from getting 2GB RAM rather than the standard 1GB. We have been told we should receive a UMi C1 for review soon so keep your eye’s peeled for our impressions of this mid-range “quad-core killer”.

If they release a version with 2GB Ram and sell for a good price just Huawei with 3C will be interesting, for know i’m passing this C1, not quite interesting.
their logo looks like Xiaomi’s
1GB is ok with normal using, but I want get 2GB ram for sure
I can’t see a reason to buy this, there are many other phones with higher specs for around the same price point.
