ASUS might not have gotten the response Xiaomi got in India, but the company’s ever-so-affordable Zenfone 5 did reasonably well in its first days.
It took the ASUS-Flipkart combo a total of four days to stock out of the Zenfone 5, which at just 10,000 INR ($164) is a great buy. The smartphone comes with the 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor that along with 2GB of RAM packs quite a punch.
What’s more, buyers that make the purchase of the Zenfone 5 on the 18th of August can also avail a 10 percent discount by paying using their SBI cards. That makes the final amount 9,000 INR + shipping, which in my opinion is quite a deal if you haven’t been able to get hold of the elusive Xiaomi Mi 3.
