Doogee are taking things up a notch or two, in fact they look like they have really pushed the envelope with the all new Doogee DG900 phone with 16mp main camera.
DooGee are aiming higher than usual with the Doogee DG900 with higher specifications than we have seen so far on previous phones form the company, and new and improved design. The DG900 is noted to have a soft texture rear shell, similar to that of the ‘baby skin’ material on the OnePlus One. The Gorilla Glass 3 display will measure 5-inch and have a FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 and be a thinner OGS unit.
Gizchina News of the week
With the flashier looking design and high-resolution display it is good to see that there will be 2GB RAM, and an octacore MT6592 processor on board with Android 4.4 Kitkat and even Mediatek’s Hotknot system (similar to NFC). Unfortunately LTE isn’t enabled in this version of the phone but it does have dual sim support.
According to earlier news leaks the highlights of the Doogee D900 don’t stop at the higher then average materials or higher resolution display, as the phone gets a Sony IMX135 16 mega-pixel main sensor with 5 lens stack on top while the front camera is an 8 mega-pixel with flash and 88 degree lens.
Pricing hasn’t been announced but the cost is likely to be as competitive as previous Doogee phones.
