A recent TENAA document reveals the first glimpse at a ZTE Android wearable, a first from the Chinese tech maker who are hoping to follow in the footsteps of Motorola, Samsung and LG.
Wearable tech is the next big thing, you might not think it is just yet, and looking at the current options to choose from we would agree, but in the next few months we are going to see more wearable tech than we can shake a stick at.
One of the new items we can look forward to seeing is this rather chunky number from ZTE. The smartwatch recently showed up on the governmental Tenaa website where we usually see smartphones and tablets. Chances are this is something more akin to the Omate, running a slimmed down version of Android with full call features rather than an Android Wear device such as the LG G watch.
Gizchina News of the week
Specs of the watch are not mentioned we we do see tat the body looks larger and more durable than some others we have seen, there is a lock and power button on the side and a home button on the front. The screen sits below a speak meaning calls and voice messages over Wechat and Whatsapp could be a possibility.
