Suspected Meizu MX4 Pro specs surface

meizu mx4 pro specs

If you thought that this past week’s Meizu MX4 was all the Zhuhai based phone maker had in store for fans then it looks like you are in for a surprise with the launch of an additional Meizu MX4 Pro model.

Since early this year we have heard rumours that Meizu would launch 4 new phones this year, but at this past week’s launch we only got to see a single handset, the Meizu MX4. While the MX4 is a well made and very capable beast, there are customers who want the best of the best from their phones, so Meizu have created the MX4 Pro to cater for them.

From the leaked specification sheet the Meizu MX4 Pro sounds to be physically similar to the current MX4, but with more advanced hardware on the inside. For starter the screen will be a 2K 2502 x 1536 panel on the new phone, there will be a monstrous 4GB RAM and the processor will come from the Samsung stable rather than Mediatek.

Gizchina News of the week

The rear camera remains the same 20.7 mega-pixel but now with an F1.8 aperture as the current MX4, while the front sensor will be an amazing 13 mega-pixel snapper with F2.0 aperture. The specifications also mention choice of 16, 32 and 64GB internal memory, LTE support and Flyme 4.0.

No news on when Meizu plan to launch the Meizu MX4 Pro, but let’s hope that they are striking while the iron is still hot. As for the last 2 phones in the Meizu line up we currently have no details. Stay posted.

Literally any phone geeks’ wet dream, bar the battery size which I’m hoping will be larger than the current MX4’s.

lol the SoC listed there is ridiculously impossible , quad A17 at crazy clocks and quad A15 clocked higher than in the Note 4.

yeah, that’s such a stupid claim ahaha
plus, there may as well be eight A17s, if I recall correctly the A17 uses less power and was intended to replace the A15. Not to mention 32 bit CPUs can’t address all 4 gigabytes of the ram anyway. If it’s an Exynos 5433 with four gigabytes ram it’d be plausable, because that’s a 64 bit chip.

If such a processor did/does not show up in the Note 4 then it probably isint there. Also doubt the 4gigs of RAM.

Guys pls do your research … I read elsewhere that the MX4 Pro will ship with an octa core Intel Core i7 4th generation @ 3.8GHz (4.8GHz with turbo activated on all cores) and 16GB RAM paired with nVidia GeForce GTX 890 w/4GB vRAM.

    lol

1st, you cannot pair A17 and A15 cores. They are both heavy duty SoCs and therefore incompatible.Oh and they are 32bit SoCs so 4GB RAM iss ruled out. Reason well b4 posting gibberish in here.

Kinda funny how you get so upset and then you make your own claim that 4GB is out of the question. The limit is 4GB virtual memory and A15 can address up to 1TB of physical memory.

Physical Memory = Where you put your stuff

RAM = Where CPU put his stuff -> max. 3,75GB for 32bit systems.
