From 10am tomorrow morning, Meizu fans across China will be able to walk in to their local electronics store and buy the Meizu MX4!
Meizu are well and truly back, they have a new phone, a good price and they have some great advantages over the competition…. retail stores!
Usually the news of a Chinese smartphone launch is quickly followed by problems with supply, demand causing shortages, of details of silly pre-sale only selling models. In the past keeping demand high was an easy way to success in the mainland of China, but as more companies follow this method, customers are getting tired.
Gizchina News of the week
So the news that customers can buy the Meizu MX4 in retail stores across China tomorrow comes as a refreshing change. Fans of the Zhuhai phone maker will be able to visit any of the 600 Meizu flagship stores across China, or head to a Suning store and buy the phone in store! In addition Jingdong have become an official online partner giving the phone even more exposure.
This is great news for Chinese fans but what does it mean for international customers? Well it means that grey important models of the phone will soon be hitting stores offering lower pricing, which you may or may not want to keep your eyes peeled for depending on if a warranty is important to you.
In addition to the grey version of the MX4, a limited quatity of whilte Meizu MX4 models will also be available tomorrow in China too.
