No so long ago we posted the news that OnePlus had abandoned their plan to release Style Swap covers for their phones due to low yield in the manufacturing process. Well the news isn’t all bad as a few lucky customers still have a chance to get the wooden panel option.
Sources in China say that although manufacturing of the Bamboo OnePlus One cover has now ended, the company do have a few market ready production versions of the cover available which they will be using to produce a limited edition phone.

The Bamboo edition OnePlus One will be available for pre-order today in China. The phone is based on the 64GB OnePlus One and being a Chinese model will ship with ColorOS. Pricing for the phone is 2599 Yuan or $423. No details if international customers will be getting a shot at this special edition option yet.
