Meizu have 4 phones for this year, we have seen the first with MT6595 processor and the Mediatek isn’t going to stop there as at least two other devices will get the Taiwanese chipsets!
We know that Meizu have 4 phones prepped for this year, but so far we have seen only the Meizu MX4 launch which is powered by an octacore MT6595 phone. From rumours and insider knowledge the next phone to launch will be the MX4 Pro with a Samsung chip, so what of the remaining two Meizu devices?
Well industry analysts believe that the final two products from Meizu this year will get Mediatek processors, but the more advanced 64bit chips. It is thought that there will be a 5-inch phone (the Meizu MX4 mini) and a larger 5.5-inch phone that will use the MT6732 and MT6752 processors.
These chips are quad-core and octacore units build around Cortex A53 architecture with LTE capabilities build in. The quad-core MT6732 will be clocked at around 1.5Ghz while the octacore MT6752 at 2.0Ghz.
Use of 64Bit chips is interesting, but what is also exciting is that we will see a larger Mediatek phone from Meizu. This device looks to be their device to take on the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note range!
What do you think of Meizu’s moves this year? And would you be interested in a Meizu MX4 ‘note’?
its all about the pricing, (price wars!!!). everyone right now waits for mx4 pro, with mx4 meizu got spot on, but the international pricing is bad cause its more expensive than mi4/one plus while being less powerfull, the same can be applied to the new devices, if meizu makes a counter for redmi 1s/note they should have same price range if not they wont do well.
i really hope meizu with mx4 pro make it right cause i really want it to be my next main phone 🙂
sigh… the snapdragon 801 is better, adreno 330 is better and it has 3gb ram, what are you smoking?
Think you guys are confusing opinion as fact.
Είναι επιβεβαιωμένο 100%; Δεν το ήξερα!! 😉
