With an ever expanding line up, we have started to believe that Elephone plan to have a different phone for every person in China! Next on the list is the Elephone P4000, a Xiaomi/Meizu/Nubia inspired device!
It is always great to see a Chinese phone maker go from strength to strength, especially a young phone maker like Elephone, but we do cringe when they relax a little and start pumping out the clones!
As you can see, the Elephone P4000 is a smartphone based on the design of the Xiaomi Mi4. Previously we had been informed by our source at Elephone that the P4000 will be a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) phone, powered by a Mediatek processor and housed in a metal body.
These additional renders of the new phone show us that Xiaomi aren’t the only inspiration for the P4000, which also has the home button from a Nubia phone and the wallpaper form Meizu’s Flyme. The new images also show that a Whilte, Gold and Black version of the phone will be available and that the rear of the device will have a single LED flash and rear camera, but no Finger-print scanner which has become a prominent features in the Elephone line-up.

Pricing is not yet confirmed, nor is a release date of final specifications.
Hmmm. Clones, clones, clones. Originality is indeed scarce.
Is it a quality device, that will last ?
I think it’s beautiful. I love the design of the back of the phone.
Even with a snapdragon 810 i wouldn’t buy this phone! The build quality is very bad!
Several past Elephone models have been known to have poor build quality, he is probably going off of that.
I know a few people who bought them and loved them for the first week and then the problems started.
I have had a fingerprint scanner on multiple phones and have never used it other than to try it out. To me it is a gimmick feature like NFC.
