The Vibe X2 has instantly become an object of desire for tech enthusiasts. Lenovo showed off the layered smartphone at the IFA in the beginning of this month, and we later found a listing of the device on Lenovo’s India website.
It appears as though the Vibe X2 will be launching soon, but it won’t be the only one. It’ll be sharing the limelight with the Vibe Z2 Pro, the massive 6-inch 2K smartphone from Lenovo. Lenovo India have also been distributing invites for the launch, and although the invites don’t explicitly talk about the Vibe Z2 Pro, they do mention the words “Make way for the Pro”, and “The Pro awaits you”, clearly signalling at what’s in store.
The Vibe X2 was announced with a US$399 pricing during the IFA, so Indian buyers should be prepared to pay around 25,000 INR for the MT6595m powered device. The Vibe Z2 Pro, on the other hand, will be more expensive with an expected price of around the 40,000 INR mark to go head-to-head with the OPPO Find 7.
The Vibe X2 comes with a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB RAM and a rather impressive design, while the Vibe Z2 Pro aims the multimedia buffs with it’s 6-inch 2560 x 1440p pixel display and more powerful internals.
