The OPPO N3 is going to be a hard phone to miss. It’s successor, the N1, lives in our memory as one of the best camera phones around till date, and by the looks of it, the N3 will do that and more!
A couple of days back, we learnt that the N3 will be available in a couple of different body construction options, in steel and aluminium alloy. That is pretty interesting alright, but the N3 has a couple more tricks in its bag. Rumours suggest that the camera-centric smartphone will come with the Snapdragon 805 SoC to become the most powerful OPPO yet; along with that, there’s the customary 3GB of RAM we’ve seen in all flagships this year.

The N1 was tagged obnoxiously huge by a lot of the tech community for having a massive 5.9 inch screen, back in 2013. Come 2014, and everyone’s used to the fact that smartphone are going to be big, no matter what you think. Even then, 5.9 inches is a bit larger than average. Anyway, coming back to the N3, we’re expecting to see the same 5.9-inch display this time round as well. Unlike the Find 7 that packs a mammoth 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, the N3 is believed to come with a (more easy on the eyes?) 1080p resolution as its predecessor.
Snapdragon 805, 3GB RAM and a 1080p screen… it all sounds pretty good. Add to that a killer camera, which is expected to be the N3’s main feature, and it looks like we have a winner on our hands. If only you can live with a 5.9-inch screen though; we however expect it to have a smaller footprint than the N1!
