The prime Xiaomi Mi 4 competitor, i.e., the Huawei Honor 6 is now official in the Indian and Malaysian markets.
The smartphone comes with a 5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 920 processor that’s developed in-house by Huawei, and a healthy 3GB of RAM to help make yo stay on top of your multitasking. What many might like is the fact that the Honor 6 comes with a microSD slot, a feature a lot of new-day flagships lack. On-board, the Honor 6 does 16GB of storage.
In India, the device will be available for purchase for 19,999 INR or US$325 via Flipkart starting 6th October, which is a week away from now. You can head over to the Flipkart page to check the listing. Malaysian consumers will have to go through pre-order before being able to purchase the device for RM999 (US$304). For that, you’ll first have to register on VMall.my, and then place the order once it does go on sale.
Gizchina News of the week
We’d played with the device a couple of weeks back, when we found it to be an outstanding performer. Huawei is certainly aiming at Xiaomi with the Honor 6, and is trying to make the kill before Xiaomi enters the playground.
Which one would you rather prefer? The Xiaomi Mi 4 or the Honor 6?
